ZRPNet version 1.00.01

This file contains installation help for Win 3.1 and Win 95
if the SETUP program fails in some way.

ZRPNet is designed to calculate pressure loss due to friction for an
incompressible fluid flowing through network of pipes or ducts.
Databases for pipe sizes and fluid properties are included.

ZRPNet requires Windows 3.1x (this version not tested on Windows 95).

================
Win 3.1 Install
================

Exit ALL other applications.

Run SETUP.EXE from Windows' Program Manager with the menu command
  Files | Run...

You may use the "Browse" button to find SETUP.EXE on your floppy or
hard drive. Its location will depend on where you downloaded and
expanded the ZRPN1a.ZIP file.

SETUP.EXE is required to expand the compressed files for this program
and copy them to a drive and directory of your choice. The default
location is C:\ZRTools

SETUP.EXE gives you options:
  Target Directory - location where the files will be installed.
                   - you may Find and select a directory
                   - a new directory will be created under your selection
  Group - name of the program group

SETUP.EXE will expand and copy the required files to the Target Directory.
SETUP.EXE will then create a program group and icons for ZRPNet and Help.
SETUP.EXE will not modify any *.ini or *.cfg or *.bat files

Your installation is now complete.

If SETUP fails to create a group or program item you must do this manually.
To make a new Group:
  In Windows' Program Manager use the command Files | New
  Select New Group.
    For Name: enter ZRTools
    For File: enter zrtools.grp
  Select OK
  A group window will appear.
  Select File | New again
  Select New Program Item
    Use "Browse" to find the file ZRPNet.EXE, select OK
    Use "Change Icon", an icon will be found in ZRPNet.EXE, select OK
  For Description: enter ZRPNet (or whatever)
  For Working Directory: enter the directory ZRPNet.EXE is in.
    (everything in the command line up to the last '\')

Your installation should now be complete.

==================
Windows 95 Install
==================

Exit ALL other applications.

Run SETUP.EXE from Start | Run...

You may use the "Browse" button to find SETUP.EXE on your floppy or
hard drive. Its location will depend on where you downloaded and
expanded the ZRPN1a.ZIP file.

SETUP is required to uncompress the program files and copy them
to a drive and directory of your choice. The default location
will be C:\ZRTools

The installation will proceed as in a Win 3.1 install.

You should see a new window with 2 icons. You may run ZRPNet from
there or you may close that window and run the program from:
	Start|Programs|ZRTools|ZRPNet.

If SETUP fails to create a group (folder) you must do this manually.

To setup a program folder manually:
  Select START
  Select SETTINGS
  Select TASK BAR (click once)
   From Start Menu Programs
     Select Add
       Select Browse (open the directory/folder, ZRTools)
       Doubleclick on ZRPNet
     Select Next
       Select a folder such as "Programs"
       -----   OR  -----
       Select New Folder (name it ZRTools)
     Select Next
       Name the Shortcut ZRPNet
     Select Finish
   Select OK

Your installation is now complete.

You can run the program from Start|Programs|ZRTools|ZRFlow.
